AMANDA WOOD MAKEUP ARTISTRY

I'm a graduate of The Hair Design Centre's Makeup Artistry Program in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I'm licensed with the Cosmetology Association of NS. While I attended school I learned a number of valuable techniques and averaged in the 90s from tests and projects, and my provincial exams average is also a 90.

My main goal when coming out of school was to build my professional portfolio and to work as many different jobs as I can in the industry. I feel like with every client I am accomplishing that goal by building a portfolio with a wide variety of shoots, ranging from film, glamour, natural, special effects and more.

love experimenting with color and I love helping people look their best. I enjoy doing all types of work from photo shoot and film to special events and custom makeovers. I have experience working with people of all different kinds of ethnic backgrounds and can work with any skin type. I can create a variety of looks and have over 300 professional products in my kit, meaning you get exactly the look you want every time!
